In July of 2018 my wife and I headed to New York for my first Thriller Fest. Thriller Fest is the biggest author convention for thriller writers in the country. Some of the best writers of our time were present--George R.R. Martin, Lee Child, David Morell, Heather Graham just to name a few. It is a convention created by authors for authors of thrillers and mysteries. It’s an opportunity for authors who are trying to break into the business to attend workshops, panels and social events with publishers, agents and authors who have had success in this industry. As a member of the International Thriller Writers I’m delighted that I was able to be a part of it this year.

Here is a look back at this year’s Thriller Fest…

My first novel A Criminal Defense was published in 2017. I was blessed to have a wonderful publisher, Thomas & Mercer with a team who's passion for books, vision and excitement is infectious. A Criminal Defense debuted on Amazon at No. 1 and went on to become the number 6 best-selling novel for Kindle in 2017. In July 2018 the book hit 250,000 sales (and counting) and Thomas and Mercer presented me with The Silver Raven Award. Here is a glimpse of that evening.
